Virginia primarily works with oil on canvas but has also experimented with acrylics, plants, and other mediums.
Before creating a work, visions from the divine and the depth of soul come to her for inspiration. She often uses meditation to access those sources, and becomes entranced by the colors and patterns she sees. Nature-themed patterns and rich colors weave throughout her work and express the deep undercurrents of her passion, zest, and creativity.
EXPOSURE
Since exposing her work in 2008-2009, she has won several international awards and recognition, and has participated in several group exhibitions. She now lives in Rochester, Minnesota and continues on her creative journey, experiencing nature, and being one with the universe.
